The formula of bad aircon service

Did you know that you have components in your car AC that can have a serious impact on your financial and personal health?

1. The Cooling Coil

In combination with moisture and dirt, the narrow spaces between the cooling fins of cooling coil provide an ideal breeding ground for bacteria, mould and germs. As a result, depending on the weather, driving style and use of the air conditioning system, the health of drivers and passengers inside the vehicle can be adversely affected within a very short time.

2. The Pollen Filter Box

In your car air conditioning system, the pollen filter ensures that most contamination from the ambient air does not get on to the evaporator or into the car interior. However, some of the filtrate accumulates around the filter and when the filter is replaced, often additional particles fall down. Therefore this area in particular must be cleaned every time the pollen filter is replaced.

Drivers don't know!

Every car air conditioning system has exactly two weak points at which they are especially susceptible to dirt and attacks from harmful microorganisms – the pollen filter box and the evaporator.

They have a rough idea about servicing their home AC, but rely entirely on their workshops when it comes to servicing their Car AC.

This is a problem because it makes drivers vulnerable to bad service and overcharging.

Workshops don't care!

Work shops very often fight tight margins and try to squeeze out more profit from each car that goes through their shop. They might:

Charge you for full car AC servicing but don't clean evaporator and filter housing at all.

Use wrong methods and products or suggest to change the evaporator - very expensive and in most cases unnecessary.

Only exchange air filter which is NOT a full car AC servicing and a quick win for any work shop with very little work involved.

Step 1: AircoWell 994 for Evaporator

Step 1
Evaporator Cleaning
with AircoWell 994

Every car air conditioning system has exactly two weak points at which they are especially susceptible to dirt and attacks from harmful microorganisms – the pollen filter box and the evaporator. Therefore, the airco well® air conditioning cleaning system consists of two specially developed components to clean both these areas extremely effectively.

How does it work?

The special airco well® hygienic cleaner for air conditioning evaporators is sprayed directly on to the evaporator with the aid of a powerful pressure pot spray gun. This ensures rapid removal of contamination and deposits with the TUNAP splash effect.

What is the effect?

Because of the high spray pressure, germs are simply flushed away. The fast-acting liquid also actively cleans the entire evaporator system right down to the smallest corner and removes the biofilm formed by the microorganisms. Unpleasant smells are eliminated at the source.

Step 2: AircoWell 996 for Pollen Filter Box

Step 2
AircoWell 996 for
Pollen Filter Box

The special airco well® hygienic cleaner for the pollen filter box is a cleaning aerosol with spray probe. When the old filter is removed, the pollen filter box and the neighbouring air ducts are sprayed specifically - for thorough cleaning with the TUNAP splash effect. The intensive cleaning effect resulting from optimum wetting delays re-infestation by microorganisms (e.g. mould, bacteria) in the pollen filter housing and in the neighbouring air ducts for a long time.

How it all comes together

The Sinner Circle of comprehensive cleaning

How is efficient cleaning defined, and which factors play a role in it? An effect mechanism that is critically important to all cleaning processes is the Sinner’s Circle. According to this principle, the effectiveness of cleaning is based on four factors: the cleaning agent, the mechanics, the time and the temperature.

  • The cleaning agent triggers the cleaning process, loosens foreign matter and holds it in suspense until it is transported away.
  • The mechanics can be performed by brushes, sponges, hydraulic pressure (in the case of airco well®) or gas pressure. The mechanic force shortens the application time of the cleaning agent and accelerates the cleaning process.
  • Another factor is the application time of the cleaning agent, that is the time between the cleaning agent is applied and the foreign matter is absorbed.
  • Finally, the cleaning process can be accelerated further by increasing the temperature of the cleaning agent in use.

How often do I have to clean my air conditioning system?

Many providers in the market promise to clean the vehicle’s air conditioning system and charge extremely varying prices for this. The only method that has been proven to work in the long term is from airco well®, which is a combination of rinsing the evaporator and cleaning the pollen filter box.

Can I use the airco well® air conditioning cleaning system in any make of car?

Yes. airco well® can be used to clean air conditioning systems in all makes of car.

Does a “garage air conditioning service” always include cleaning the air conditioning system?

No, in most cases an air conditioning service involves no more than functional maintenance. Hygienic cleaning of the air conditioning system has to be ordered separately.

If sold as AC Cleaning, then it's a scam. Has nothing to do with profesional AC Cleaning.

Sounds nice in marketing, but we do not consider this method as professional AC Cleaning.

We don't consider this a professional AC Cleaning. Spraying liquid into air ducts can harm electronic parts.

Does normally not have enough spray power, does not reach directly to the relvant parts.
